This Privacy Policy describes how castructuralengineer.com ("the Site," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and handles information when you visit or sign up for the waitlist.
Waitlist signups: When you submit the engineer or seeker waitlist form, we collect your email address, and optionally your name and BPELSG license number. This information is used solely to notify you when the directory launches.
Usage data: We collect standard analytics data (pages visited, referring URLs, browser type) via Vercel Analytics. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
Public license data: Engineer profiles on this site are built from publicly available BPELSG bulk license data. This data is in the public domain and published by the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We do not use your information for advertising.
By signing up for the waitlist, you agree to receive a confirmation email and a launch notification email. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at hello@castructuralengineer.com.
Waitlist data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the US West (Oregon) region. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Both services maintain their own privacy policies and security standards.
Engineer profile data (name, license number, city, license status, expiration date) is sourced from the BPELSG public database. This is public information. If you are a licensed engineer and believe information about you is incorrect, you can contact us to request a correction, or update your record directly with BPELSG.
You may request deletion of your waitlist entry at any time by emailing hello@castructuralengineer.com. We will process deletion requests within 10 business days.
